Cleveland State University
Cleveland State University is located on 2121 Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland and was established in 1964 but opened for learning in 1965. CSU is a Public Research University with urban settings and the campus size is 85 acres.

The University campus has 5 different garages for daily visitor parking:
Prospect Garage (2350 prospect avenue) and Central Garage (1900 E 21st Street) both have the same rates:
$2.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for every 2 hours after.
1-3hr = $4.00
3-5 hr = $6.00
5-7 hr = $8.00
Over 7 hr = $10.00
West Garage (1830 E. 17th Street), South Garage (2102 East 21st Street) and East Garage (2506 Chester Avenue) also have the same rates:
$2.00 for the first hour
$1.00 per hour after
Max $10.00 per day
The garages are open 5 am - 11.59 pm 7 days a week apart from East Garage which opens at 3 pm Monday - Friday. South garage offers overnight parking via request and West Garage offers overnight parking with a valid permit only.
You will be required to pay as you exit and be aware that your entry ticket or prepaid parking receipt must be displayed while parked.
Cleveland State University Short-term Parking
The university has several parking lots for short-term stays only (up to 4 hours). Below are some of the locations:

CSU Student Parking Permits
The Cleveland University has parking permits on sale for students and resident student parking. These permits are issued on a first come first serve basis and the students must be registered for classes before a permit can be purchased.
The university recently introduced a virtual annual parking permit system where you can register and purchase your permit online. These permits are only valid for the registered license plate(s).
Prices vary depending on the garage location and time of day you wish to park.
Parking around Downtown Cleveland
Cathedral Plaza Garage
Located on Rockwell Ave and 9th St, the Cathedral Plaza Garage is just a 15-minute walk away from the Cleveland state university. This garage is open Monday - Saturday from 6 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm.
You can park here for the full day for just $13.00 or you can make the most of the early bird discount for just $7.50 if you are in by 8.30 am and out by 7 pm, Monday to Friday.

515 Euclid Garage
This garage is just a 15-minute walk from the Cleveland State University, located on 735 Vincent Ave
Rates vary at this garage, depending on how long you wish to stay for. It is $4.00 per 15 minutes, with a daily rate of $16.00 for 24 hours (until 4 am). Saturdays and Sundays have a flat rate of $12.00.
They also have special evening rates available. Monday to Thursday is just $12.00 if you are in after 4 pm. Friday and Saturday are just $16.00 if you are in after 5 pm and out before 4 am.
Gateway East Garage
Gateway East Garage is another one just a 15-minute walk from Cleveland State University. This garage is also just a short walk away from the Progressive Field Stadium, so keep it in mind if you plan on attending any games.
