Oakland Ferry Parking: The Best Places To Park

Updated: Jul 28

The Oakland ferry terminal is located in Jack London Square in Oakland, California. From the Oakland Terminal, you can choose between 5 different ferry routes run by San Francisco Bay Ferries.

On July 1, San Francisco Bay Ferry launched a new timetable offering more weekday departures than ever before. With ferries departing regularly from Oakland and Alameda to San Francisco Terminal-this is a beautiful, fast and easy way to travel. And even better, the ferry offers a bar service so you can be commuting while enjoying a nice cold beer on board!

The routes served are:

  • Oakland & Alameda Route daily service to and from downtown San Francisco

  • South san Francisco Route weekday service to and from South San Francisco's Oyster point

  • Alameda Short Hop weekday service to and from Main Street Alameda

  • Chase Center Route direct service to and from Chase Center for Warriors games

  • Oracle Park Route direct service from Oracle Park for Giants home games The ferry Terminal does not offer a dedicated parking facility, so it might be a good idea to plan ahead to save you wasting time before your ferry trip. If you want to be extremely prepared-the Smarking Garage offers a brilliant service where you can reserve your space before even arriving at the garage. You can do this with SmartPass by Smarking. The Smarking garage is just a 20-minute walk from the ferry terminal and is near to many other great attractions in the city!
