Updated: Aug 4, 2022

Jack London Square is the only publicly accessible waterfront and marina area in Oakland located along the estuary connecting to San Francisco Bay. It has been a well-known icon since the mid-1800s, and serves as a lifestyle hub that offers numerous outdoor activities, food, special events, and entertainment for tourists and locals alike.

Here, you can enjoy fantastic dining options with many different cuisines to pick from, the incredible aromas as you walk by its many (excellent) coffee shops, take a lovely walk at the Bay Trail, and even do some wine tasting. Being one of Oakland's most famous landmarks, it's usually crowded, so Jack London Square parking options are usually limited. You need to plan to avoid getting a parking ticket.
