Best Parking Options Near the Hyatt Regency Cleveland Hotel

The Hyatt Regency Cleveland has become a top wedding destination given its incredible aesthetics, but its location is definitely one of the biggest draws. The hotel sits in the heart of downtown Cleveland, putting guests within walking distance of top city attractions, entertainment venues, shopping centers, and restaurants. However, its great location also means the parking options are limited, so you'll want to plan your visit ahead of time to avoid delays and parking tickets.


The hotel's location, like Drury Plaza Hotel, is very convenient for those wanting to explore the bustling downtown Cleveland. However, with so many attractions around, it's needless to say finding an available place to park your car can get tricky. To save some time and prefer less trouble (and avoid parking tickets), check out the parking options nearby. Street parking in downtown Cleveland may also be possible.


Smarking Garage

The Smarking parking garage is located on Rockwell Avenue and E 9th Street, less than a 5-minute walk away from the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade. Our facilities can be accessed only by pass holders, so reserve your parking spot ahead of time, and we'll have a safe place to leave your car for the day waiting for you.


The Cleveland Cathedral Plaza Parking Garage is just steps away from many landmarks, so if you are planning a visit, make sure to reserve and pay for your spot ahead of time and spend a worry-free day exploring the heart of downtown Cleveland!


With in/out privileges and an unbeatable location this is your best bet when looking for parking around downtown Cleveland.



Valet Parking

Before we get into the parking garage options, note that the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade does not have self-parking options, however it has valet parking available at the entrance to the lobby on Superior Avenue. The fee per night is $39 including taxes, however, in and out access is not allowed.


200 Public Square Garage

The 200 Public Square Garage is right next to the hotel, on 320 W Superior Ave. The rates start at $4 for 15 minutes and go up to $20 for 24-hour parking or $12 for overnight. The weekend flat rate (Sat - Sun) is $5 . The garage operates 24/7 with attendants on duty at all times. Keep in mind the rates can change if there's an event in the area, so look for the price sign before going in, and access is subject to availability ( first come first served).


801 Rockwell Garage

This 9-level garage on 801 Rockwell Ave. one block away from Clair Ave. is also a popular and affordable option for day parking. Keep in mind they do not allow overnight parking, and it's only open on weekdays from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m so it's best only if you are attending an event during the day or just want to explore the downtown area for a couple of hours. Their fees start at $5 for 30 minutes, and you'll pay up to $10 as a daily maximum.


Memorial Plaza Garage

The Memorial Plaza underground garage is on 300 St. Clair Avenue and it's open 24/7. The weekday rate for the first 30 minutes is $7 and it goes up to a daily maximum of $25, with no in/out benefits. They also offer an evening rate of $10 if you go in after 5 p.m. During weekends (Sat - Sun) their rate is a flat $10.


A Perfect Location to Enjoy Downtown Cleveland

Downtown Cleveland is the city's business center and its oldest district, where you'll find wonderful diverse architecture, and a variety of attractions to keep you happily busy during your visit. While you're around, take some time to explore the area; here are some must-visit locations.


Public Square

The Public Square is downtown's central plaza, just a couple of blocks away from the hotel and the Smarking garage. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours taking a walk, enjoying the interesting monuments around, and maybe catch one of the many events happening in the square all through the year. Watch a live music performance at the Mandel Concert Hill or have some lunch at the nice restaurant in the plaza.


East 4th Street

If you're looking for a nice evening out with friends head for a walk up East 4th Street where you'll find lots of shopping, dining and entertainment options. This popular destination is known for having some of the best drinks and craft brews in the city, as well as an extraordinary culinary offer and a nice casino. It's a short street, but you'll surely find something to keep you busy for the night. Don't worry, you can leave your car safely parked at the Smarking garage, just a few minutes away.

One Cleveland Center

One Cleveland Center is a 31- story skyscraper located in Downtown Cleveland. Recognized as the 5th tallest skyscraper in Downtown Cleveland, this center is also one of the best places to be if you love or enjoy the lake and city views. It is situated in a really great location and is just walking distance to Downtown Cleveland's beautiful attractions, hotels, cafes and fine dining restaurants. St. John's Cathedral

The St. John's Cathedral (Cathedral of St John the Evangelist), located at 1007 Superior Avenue, is a must-see historic Roman Catholic church that catches the eye of all by-walkers. Its stunning architecture makes it a great touristic visit for those who admire the ornamental gothic style and Munich-style stained glass windows. If you'd like to attend mass, the usual hours are around 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. (check their website for exact times), and the cathedral is open to the public the whole week.
